En abril de este año os contábamos los nominados a los prestigiosos Premios de la Industria del Cómic Will Eisner 2015, considerados los ‘Oscars’ de los cómics. Hace unos momentos, en la San Diego Comic Con, ha tenido lugar la ceremonia de entrega y os traemos la información sobre los ganadores.
Este año, los que han hecho sus apuestas se habrán llevado más de una sorpresa. No hay claros ganadores que hayan arrasado en los galardones, y la mayoría de cómics que obtuvieron más nominaciones, se han ido con las manos vacías: ‘Ms. Marvel‘, ‘El Multiverso‘ y ‘Bandette‘ se han quedado sin Eisner.
Curiosamente, los cómics que más premios se han llevado han sido los siguientes. Por un lado ‘Saga‘, la triunfadora de anteriores ediciones de los Eisner, no ha arrasado pero se lleva dos de los galardones más importantes: Mejor serie regular, y Mejor dibujante para la gran Fiona Staples. Por otro lado, también han obtenido dos premios la antología ‘Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream‘ (Mejor diseño de publicación y Mejor antología), y el cómic juvenil ‘Lumberjanes‘ (Mejor serie nueva y Mejor publicación juvenil).
Con respecto a los autores españoles, han sido premiados Marcos Martín, por ‘The Private Eye‘ como mejor cómic digital, y Juan Díaz Canales y Juanjo Guarnido que fueron Premio Nacional del Cómic 2014 por ‘Blacksad: Amarillo‘, han visto a su álbum ganar en la categoría de Mejor edición norteamericana de material internacional
