Premios Hugo 2015: Lista de ganadores y finalistas

Suponemos que todos sabéis qué son los Premios Hugo (también conocidos como Science Fiction Achievement Awards) pero para quien no los conozca diremos que son una serie de importantes galardones otorgados a obras de ciencia ficción o en menor grado fantasía, así como a artistas gráficos, guionistas, editores, etc. El premio Hugo recibe su nombre en honor a Hugo Gernsback, fundador de la pionera revista de ciencia ficción, ‘Amazing Stories’ y de la invención del término “ciencia ficción”.

Los premios llevan concediéndose desde 1953 en la Convención Mundial de Ciencia Ficción (Worldcon), donde en cada edición la Sociedad Mundial de Ciencia Ficción (WSFS) creada para la ocasión realiza la selección previa, una selección de cinco candidatos y un ganador final en cada categoría. Los Premios Hugo son otorgados en el año siguiente a la publicación de las obras seleccionadas, y los premios a personas se conceden, igualmente, por la labor realizada en el año previo a la concesión del premio.

Como curiosidad os contaremos que cada votante puede marcar la casilla ‘No Award‘ si considera que ninguno de los finalistas merece ganar el Premio Hugo de esa categoría, algo que ha pasado este año en varias, dejando el galardón sin entregar.
